Mangalore: ‘Vruksha Bandhana’ programme will be organized by Sahyadri Samrakshana Sanchaya with the theme of ‘Save and grow the trees’ on Monday, August 11.
Mahabala Maarla, Mayor, Mangalore City Corporation, will inaugurate the programme by tying a sacred thread (Rakshe) to a tree near Balmatta Road at 9.30 am. J.R. Lobo, MLA, Mangalore South, will be the guest of honor, stated in a press release.
