Mangaluru, 15 Apr 2015: Mangaluru south block Congress Committee led by MLA J R Lobo organized health checkup and blood camp at Kanthi Church hall, Mangaladevi, here on Sunday April 12.
The mayor Jacinta Alfred inaugurated the camp here on Sunday morning.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Lobo said that is the excellent platform to organize the party at grassroot level, thereby help in sustaining healthy society. The party activists will be given additional responsibility by organizing such camps in other wards of Mangaluru south legislative constituency.
MLC Ivan D’Souza also spoke on the occasion.
Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) city president Prabhakar Sriyan, Mangaluru south block Congress Committee president Nagendra Kumar, corporators Kavita Vasu, Ratikala, Bennet D’Mello, Harish Kumbla, Hussein Bolar, Sadashiv Amin, Sadanand, Durgaprasad, Dinesh Rao, Jayakar Samarta, Ramanand Poojary, Uday Bolar and others were present.
The camp was held in collaboration with IRCS, KMC Hospital and A J Shetty Hospital.
