Mangaluru, Sep 16: Shree Surya Narayana Temple, Maroli-Mangaluru felicitated MLA J R Lobo for being appointed as the chairman of the legislative committee on the Welfare of Backward Classes and Minorities, Karnataka.
After inspecting the ongoing construction work of the temple, which is coming up at an estimated cost of Rs 16 crore, the MLA presided over the temple development committee meeting held at its premises.
Corporator Keshav Maroli, Tahashildar Shivshankarappa, MCC officers and members of the temple committee were present.
