Mangaluru, 12 Jun 2015: The development Committee of Government Women Pre-University College, Balmatta, here on Thursday June 11 held its progress review meeting at the chairmanship of MLA J R Lobo.
MLA Lobo advised the principal to review the results of recently held II PUC exams and prepare a master plan to get better results in the coming exams.
He also advised to hold PTA meeting mandatorily twice a year and clean the campus once a month without fail. He announced rs 2 lac from his stand funds to build toilet the College.
The College principal Joseph said that every year they get advertisement income of Rs 4 lac and Rs 5 lac that is being collected as fees @ Rs 900 each from students, which will be utilized to manage the expenses and to pay honorarium to guest lecturers.
MLA Lobo advised to prepare a budget and maintain proper accounts in this regard. The development Committee members Tejomaya, corporator Vinayaraj, Premchand and others were present.
