Mangaluru, 26 Oct 2016: MLA J R Lobo here on Tuesday, October 25, advised the civic officials in order to develop the crematorium of Nandigudda, here @ Rs 74 lac as a model, with due emphasis on cleanliness.

While reviewing the facilities at the crematorium with the civic officials and local corporator, MLA Lobo said that the grass to be cut once in every month, parking facilities to be made, overhead tank to be installed for drinking water and washing purpose, street light and high-mast lights to be installed and landscape to be developed.

He advised to add 4 more silicon to 6 existing facilities to cremate the dead bodies, generator to be installed and separate facility to be made to store the firewood.

The municipal steering committee president Lancelot Pinto, corporators Shailaja, Jacinta Alfred, Premanand Shetty, Divakara, Ratikala, Kavita Vasu and Keshav Maroli, municipal commissioner Mohammed Nazir, municipal engineer Linge Gowda, block Congress president K Balakrishna Shetty, T K Sudhir, Sadashiv Amin, Namita Rao, Vijayalaxmi, Jayant Poojary, Ramanand Poojary, Janardhan and others were present.
