Mangaluru, 15 Jan 2018: The widening of district Court Road was a long-pending demand being undertaken at a cost of Rs 11 crore that will be completed by end of February 2017.

The precarious road was a nightmare to motoring legal fraternity and litigants that will be concreted once widening is completed, said MLA J R Lobo after viewing the road works.

Two-hundred meters long road with width of 12 meters will have footpath and drains for rain water, added MLA Lobo.

The Court Road ward corporator advocate A C Vinayaraj, Jinendra, KSRTC director T K Sudhir, Krutin Kumar, PWD executive engineer Kantaraj, assistant executive engineer Ravi Kumar, assistant engineer Sridar and others were present.
