Mangalore, May 25: Veteran Congress leader B Janardhana Poojary inaugurated the office of Mangalore City South MLA J R Lobo at City Corporation’s building.

The spacious office, located on the second floor of the MCC building, has a chamber for the MLA, a meeting hall, rooms for assistant officers and a reception.
Addressing the gathering Poojary said. “When I was the member of Lok Sabha, government had given me office, car and all the other facilities but I refused to accept it. It is nice to see J R Lobo take up an office like this and make himself more approachable to people”.
He also cautioned, “If J R Lobo ever indulges in corruption or anything that is anti-people, I will be the first to stand against him”.
On a concluding note, he urged party workers to wholeheartedly support J R Lobo in his mission.
Lobo thanked his fellow party members for their support, and said that his victory proved that unity could help achieve any goal.
He said that he would provide good governance to the people and ensure that they would get justice and solution to their problems. Congress leaders Ivan D’Souza, Ashraf, Vijaykumar Shetty and a number of party workers were present.
