Mangalore, 26 May 2014: MLA J R Lobo on Sunday May 25 presented a cheque of Es 70,000 to Kasturi, a resident of Chandragavi mutt, near Mangaladevi temple, here whose house was gutted in a fire mishap recently.
The cheque was issued to Kasturi, by revenue department towards compensation to repair the house.
Mangaladevi village accountant Surendra Rao, former coporator Namita Rao, Sunil Shetty, Sadashiv Amin, T K Sudhir, Ramanand Poojary, Harish Kumble, Kritin Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
