Mangalore South MLA J R Lobo distributed compensation cheque worth Rs 70,000 to Kasturi, a resident of Chandragavi Math near Mangaladevi temple, here recently.
The amount was sanctioned for the repair of the house belonging to Kasturi, the house was damaged due to fire. The amount has been sanctioned by the Revenue department.
VA Surendra Rao, ex corporator Namitha Rao, Sunil Shetty, Sadashiva Amin, T K Sudhir, Ramanand Poojary, Harish Kumble, Krithin Kumar, Saritha and others were present.
