Mangaluru, February 8: Aathma Shakti Co­operative Society organized a free orientation program on competitive exams at Sarvamangala Hall at Garodi near Kankanady on Sunday, February 8th.

The event was inaugurated by JR Lobo, Mangaluru South MLA along with dignitaries on the dais.

This program aims at educating SSLC, PUC and degree students who aspire to take up administrative services.

Speaking on the occasion, JR Lobo motivated the students to prepare for administrative services examination with dedication and hard work and added that a government job has many advantages over private jobs.

Deputy Commissioner A.B. Ibrahim, said that as the low, many do not opt for government jobs. One must keep in mind that a government job provides a platform for social service, said the DC.

Dakshina Kannada Superintendent of Police Dr S D Sharanappa, St Aloysius College lecturer – Dr Ganesh Amin, students from various institutions and others were present.
