Mangaluru, April 17, 2023: The election office of J R Lobo, the Congress candidate of Mangaluru South constituency was inaugurated at Ourania Commercial Complex at Kadri-Nanthoor on April 17, Monday. Party workers Padmanabha Amin and Sadashiva Amin along with other dignitaries including former MLC Ivan D’Souza, senior Congress leader K S Mohammad Masood inaugurated the office.
Pandit Vishwanath Bhat, Riyaz Fiazi Kakkinje and Fr Ronson Pinto blessed the occasion.
Congress leaders Suresh Ballal, Naveen D’Souza, Shashidhar Hegde, T K Sudhir, Appi, Prakash Salian and others were present. J R Lobo’s wife Philomena Lobo was also present.
Speaking on the occasion, J R Lobo said there was a need for a change and urged the people to elect a good government. He highlighted the problem of unemployment among youth and stressed the need for more development and for maintaining peace and harmony in the region.
