Mangalore: Western Institute of Technology organised the Grand Finale of Dance Mania- 5, a state level Inter School and College level dance competition at Town Hall Mangalore on Sunday.
24 qualifiers in the Sub Junior Solo Category, 32 in the Junior Solo Category, 30 in Senior Solo Category, 17 groups in the Junior Group Category and 25 groups in the Senior Group Category were selected through auditions.
Grand finale was inaugurated by J.R Lobo, MLA of Mangalore South. Amarnath Shetty, former Minister, Anand K, Associate Vice President, Udayavani, Arum Mendes, Propritor, Canquest Constructions, Gregory Mendonsa, DJ Sham, Propritor, Max Pro Event Management Company were present as the chief guest.
The Valedictory function was inaugurated by K Abhaya Chandra Jain, Minister of Fisheries and Youth Affairs. M R Jayesh General Manager State Bank of Mysore, was present as the chief guest.
The Grand Finale was judged by Shubha Poonja, Cina Star, Harini Madhan, renowned Choreographer of Kannada Film Industry, Hima Madhan, Choreographer of Kannada Film Industry.
